Abstract

L’aprile del 2019 il Sindaco di Londra ha inaugurato la prima Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) al mondo nel centro londinese. A ottobre 2021 la zona è stata ulteriormente ampliata attraverso il cuore della città fino ad arrivare, senza includerle, alle tangenziali North Circular Road (A406) and South Circular Road (A205). Oggi la ULEZ è 18 volte le dimensioni iniziali e ricopre un’area urbana popolata da 4 milioni di persone – circa il 44% della popolazione londinese.
